Midland Langar Seva Society

Midland Langar Seva Society is an organisation to help the those in need around the UK. The charity was established October 2013 in Walsall providing hot food and drink to those living on the street, schools, safe houses and those on the poverty line. MLSS operates on Sikh based ethos, where we help and support all people regardless of social status. Langar is the term used in the Sikh religion or in Punjab for general or common kitchen/canteen where food is served for free, without prejudice regardless of race, religion, and background.

The charity itself was founded in October 2013 by the CEO Randhir Singh in Walsall, West Midlands, UK. Today with blessings from Guru Granth Sahib Ji and people like yourselves MLSS is now maintained on a much larger scale by a passionate team who give their time to provide a free service to people who need it most.

Our work is done with a Sikh based ethos, meaning we do not discriminate and therefore aim to support people, no matter their culture or background.

We’ve helped thousands of people in need

Midland Langar Seva Society has expanded exponentially over the last 5 years, with us now working successfully across all major cities to offer support to over 30,000+ needy people throughout the UK. We’ve also managed to form valuable links with fantastic charities, businesses and government / religious organisations, who are now working alongside us to combat homelessness and make a better Britain.
