The Nut and Bolt Dholak The Dholak is mainly a folk instrument, used in traditional Indian folk music across India from the north of India down to the south. The Dholak is a two-headed hand-drum consisting of a Bass side (larger Drum Head) and a Treble side (Smaller Drum Head). The drum is pitched, depending on size of the two drum heads. The drum originates from the Indian subcontinent. It has screw-turnbuckle tensioning which are used for tuning. Great for beginners and intermediate players. Approximately 16", in length. Size and colour may vary slightly, as this is a handmade product.
